Our positioning

Built like an in-house team, contracted like a studio

We hire senior. We staff small. We work in your stack. We hand off cleanly. The engagement model is designed to feel like the best in-house team you have ever worked with, only on a fixed timeline and a fixed price.

Dashhold was founded by Aashish Solanki, a principal engineer who spent four years inside payments, ledgers, and CRM platforms before starting the studio. We hire senior. We staff small. We work in your stack. We hand off cleanly.

We started Dashhold because most agencies are optimized for billable hours, not for the systems they ship. When the systems are load-bearing — payments, ledgers, CRM, operator dashboards — that model is a tax the customer pays for years.

Our model is different. We staff senior, work small, ship in two-week iterations, and exit cleanly. The systems we leave behind are the systems your team will own for the next three to five years, so we build them like we will have to live with them ourselves.

Operating principles

Six rules we do not break

The decisions we make on every engagement, even when they are inconvenient. These are the things that earn the trust of senior buyers, audit by audit, sprint by sprint.

Production-grade or not at all

Every line of code we ship is reviewed for production. No throwaway prototypes that quietly become load-bearing.

Senior pods, no bench warmers

The engineers on your engagement are the ones who scoped it. No bait-and-switch, no junior staff aug, no offshoring.

Your stack, your repo, your cloud

We work in your environment from day one. No proprietary middleware, no hostage data, no lock-in at handover.

Demos every two weeks

You see the system in motion every fortnight, not at the end. Course corrections happen while they are cheap.

Honest scope, honest exit

If the engagement is wrong for us, we say so on the call. If we are not adding value mid-flight, we say that too.

Documentation is a deliverable

Architecture decisions, runbooks, and onboarding guides ship with the code. Your team is never stuck with a black box.

Engineering approach

How we make decisions

The principles above show up as concrete decisions in every engagement. Here is what they look like in practice.

Diagnose before prescribing

Most product problems are misdiagnosed. We spend the first week understanding the system, the team, and the constraints before recommending an approach.

Cut the scope, not the quality

When timelines get tight, we cut features, not engineering rigor. A smaller, correct system always beats a bigger, broken one.

Boring tools, novel applications

We default to the stack with the longest production track record. The novelty should be in what you build, not in the framework you bet on.

Measure outcomes, not output

Story points and velocity are inputs. We hold ourselves to outcomes: latency, activation, conversion, uptime, time-to-decision.

The team

The people you will work with

A small bench of senior practitioners. No staff aug, no offshoring, no junior bench warmers. The engineer on the strategy call is the engineer on the engagement.
